COVID Safety Protocols

We are thrilled that we can sing together in person! We continue to follow official guidelines, which means we have relaxed some of our initial safety measures, however below is a list of precautions we continue to implement:

• Requiring proof of vaccination from all participants (including booster shots if people are eligible)

• Keeping choir groups to a maximum of 50 people

• Ventilating our rehearsal spaces as best we can: using multiple fans and opening windows and doors if the weather permits.

• Masks are now optional in rehearsal

• Requiring a choir member agreement: that for the duration of a choir cycle, if they test positive for COVID and have attended rehearsal since being exposed, they will report it to their choir leader. The choir leader will then relay this information (keeping the choir member anonymous) to all participants. All choir members must then follow official guidelines for potential exposure and NYCP will cancel rehearsals if necessary.
