If history has taught us anything, it’s that you can’t stop the music. (Just ask the Kinks. Or the Village People. Or Rihanna.) So when our Brooklynite Choir started bursting at the seams, we just started a new outfit — and B-Side Choir was born. It’s got the same mix of harmony, joy and hilarity as its older sibling, but with just a hint of retro flair and a heart as big as the borough.
You’ll raise your voice to the rooftops with an amazing group of people and get a chance to mix it up: pop, rock, alt, even a little Broadway if we feel inspired. (But we promise jazz hands will only be used ironically.) It’s some of the music that made LPs great—from Fleetwood Mac to the Bangles—and some for those of you too young to know what an LP is.
So if you have music in your soul and Wednesdays free, there’s a place for you in B-Side Choir.
